We are looking for two energetic, creative and motivated individuals to join our newly-established AirJaldi Networking Academy. The successful candidates will undergo a preliminary teacher training course courses at one of the Regional Cisco Networking Academies in India. The job is based in Upper TCV, Dharamsala. You will report directly to AirJaldi’s management team.

Responsibilities/Scope of Work:

As an instructor/trainer at the AirJaldi Network Academy, your main duties will include:

• Work as an instructor for Cisco Networking Academy courses ITE1 and ITE2 and, at a later stage, CCNA.
• Manage the administrative and financial aspects of the academy, in coordination with AirJaldi’s management team.
• Assist in advertising the AirJaldi Network Academy’s activities and recruitment of students.
• Help in designing training courses based on AirJaldi’s technology and work.

Qualifications / Skills / Experience

• Good knowledge of computers - you should be well-versed user in general PC usage (hardware – general PC troubleshooting, software,). Background in networking, Linux, UNIX and other open-source tools will be considered significant advantage.
• Excellent teaching and interpersonal skills a must.
• Good administrative and financial skills an asset.
• High motivation, initiative and ability to manage your time efficiently and productively.
• Ability to communicate and translate course content to local languages (Hindi, Tibetan).
